Younis Haji AlKhoori: Zayed Humanitarian Day Reinforces the UAE's Global Leadership in Charitable and Humanitarian Work
His Excellency Younis Haji AlKhoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, stressed that Zayed Humanitarian Day is much more than a symbolic occasion, it's a heartfelt reminder of the values that continue to shape who we are as a nation.
In a statement on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day, observed annually on the 19th of Ramadan, AlKhoori said: “The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan taught us that generosity, compassion, and solidarity are not just ideals—they are a way of life. He made humanitarian work a fundamental part of the UAE's journey, and those values remain deeply rooted in everything we do today.”
“Inspired by the vision of its wise leadership, the UAE continues to follow in the footsteps of its founding father—always placing people at the heart of its journey. Our leadership firmly believes that real progress isn't just measured by economic growth—but by how we care for others, uplift communities, and stand together in solidarity.
This vision takes shape in projects that touch lives, empower individuals, and build foundations for lasting economic and social well-being in communities around the world,” His Excellency added.
His Excellency further said: "At the Ministry of Finance, we are committed to this vision by developing sustainable fiscal policies that drive growth and prosperity while also creating frameworks that support humanitarian and development initiatives. This occasion inspires us to continue working with a spirit of giving and shared responsibility, reinforcing the UAE's position as a global leader in charitable and humanitarian efforts, and creating a lasting, sustainable impact that benefits the world."Younis Haji AlKhoori: Zayed Humanitarian Day Reinforces the UAE's Global Leadership in Charitable and Humanitarian Work
