Habitat Schools Honored with Coding & AI Trailblazer Award at MIT, USA
Ajman, UAE – Habitat Schools, the largest Indian curriculum school group in Ajman, has been recognized as a leader in digital education, receiving the Coding & AI Trailblazer Award at the World Digital Fest Summit held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, on 30th January 2025. This accolade highlights Habitat’s commitment to pioneering innovation in coding and artificial intelligence education.
Since its establishment in 2014, Habitat Schools have been at the forefront of integrating technology into education, empowering students to become creators rather than just users of technology. The journey began with the launch of the Cyber Square initiative in 2014, followed by the introduction of the UAE’s first school AI Lab in 2019 at Habitat School Al Tallah School and the integration of the teaching of AI in the curriculum. This forward-thinking initiative introduced coding & AI education to students as early as Grade 1, equipping them with future-ready skills in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Habitat’s dedication to fostering digital excellence is evident in its groundbreaking achievements, including setting a Guinness World Record in January 2022 for the ‘Most Users in a Web Development Video Hangout.’ The school’s long-standing collaboration with Cyber Square AI and Robotics Private Limited has also enabled students to excel in coding, robotics, IoT, and more.
In addition, the Habitat Digital Fest platform, launched first on 28 October 2017, has played a crucial role in cementing the school’s reputation as a pioneer in fostering innovation, providing a platform for students to showcase their coding & tech prowess.
“This recognition reaffirms our vision to equip students with skills that extend beyond traditional learning, fostering innovation and creativity in the digital era,” said Adil CT, Academic Consultant of Habitat Schools who received the award on behalf of Habitat Schools. The event was inaugurated by De’Shawn C Washington, 2024 Massachusetts, Teacher of the Year. The award was handed over by Mr Jean Arunaud, Serial Entrepreneur, Al & EdTech Innovator.
With an unwavering commitment to integrating technology into education, Habitat Schools continue to inspire and prepare the next generation of tech-savvy innovators, shaping a future where students are equipped to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
