Participating malls Makani Al Ain Mall, Makani Al Shamkha and Makani Zakher put together a show of festivities for all mall visitors in Ramadan

A host of family-friendly community activities to indulge in across shopping, dining & entertainment

 

April 2023, Abu Dhabi, UAE:  Ramadan is a time for reflection and spiritual awakening and is one of the most important months in the Islamic calendar. Marking the arrival of the Holy Month, Makani presents a lineup of engaging activities to partake in. From shopping, dining, entertainment to stunning décor, all participating malls, including Al Ain based Makani Al Ain Mall and Makani Zakher and Abu Dhabi-based Makani Al Shamkha, are geared up to make Ramadan a truly special experience for one and all!

The primary attraction this Ramadan across Makani malls will be the lucrative discounts on offer by 100+ retailers including local and homegrown brands from categories of fashion, beauty, wellness, dining, sports & lots more. Mall visitors can get ahead of their Eid shopping by taking advantage of special Ramadan promotions and enjoy discounts up to 70% on select retail outlets.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in the exciting Layali Ramadan campaign that will be a key feature at Makani malls. The promotional campaign will run from 17th March to 30th April in Makani Al Ain Mall, Makani Zakher and Makani Al Shamkha. Select retailers in each mall will be offering discounts ranging from 25% and higher, as well as “Buy one get one free” offers, exclusive Eid & Ramadan collections and so much more. Layali Ramadan is a campaign run and operated by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism and is an opportunity for Makani to give back to its community by providing top-notch shopping experiences in a welcoming environment for all this Ramadan.

Not just that, but all participating malls will be decked in stunning Ramadan décor, featuring light installations, lanterns & various other symbols that signify the Holy Month, adding to the ambience & offering visitors a wholesome feeling.

There’s a whole lot of entertainment to look forward to as well. Starting 13th April until the end of Eid Al Fitr holidays, mall visitors can enjoy classical live Arab music courtesy of an oud player at Makani Al Ain Mall, Makani Al Shamkha and Makani Zakher, amplifying the cultural feel of Ramadan. The harmonious performances will run from 8 pm until 11pm every day, adding a special flavor of entertainment for visitors looking to have Suhoor at any of the Makani Malls.

 

With mall-wide discounts and music, a selection of restaurants to have iftar and suhoor meals at, embellished by beautiful décor emphasizing the heritage and culture of the Holy Month, Makani Al Ain Mall, Makani Al Shamkha and Makani Zakher graciously welcome residents & tourists to immerse themselves in the spirit of togetherness come Ramadan.
