Nanovo Wins Gold Stevie® Award in 2023 Middle East & North Africa Stevie® Awards
Winners to Be Celebrated During a Gala Event on 18 March at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 28th February, 2023 – Nanovo was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award for Excellence in Innovation in Consumer Product & Service Industries at the fourth annual Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, sponsored by the RAK Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The Polish technology company, who recently set up a regional HQ, specializes in creating digitized retail and service spaces for enhanced client attention and engagement firmly established its credentials only a few months ago when they partnered with 6th Street.com for the launch of the region’s first phygital store.
The Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in 18 nations in the Middle East and North Africa. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards® for 20 years.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners during a gala event on 18 March at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
The Gold Stevie was awarded to Nanovo for their unique innovation that enables customers with different shopping preferences – online and offline –to come together in one place, a mix of the physical and the digital, thus adding a whole new futuristic Phygital dimension to the shopping experience.
From consultation and programming to the implementation of a proprietary phygital store system with digital experiences and tools seamlessly integrated into using Nanovo’s signature SIGNIO software and platform, the Nanovo phygital offering is truly a game-changer. The company has also designed a seamless and efficient communication network with in-store warehouse systems, so that orders are transferred from digital terminals in the store space to the warehouse systems. The customer in the interactive fitting rooms now has the luxury of expanding their shopping basket and adding sizes or changing colour preferences directly from the fitting room without the participation of staff.
“This win is a testament to the quality of our innovative solutions and the commitment and expertise within our team. It underscores our reputation as a gamechanger in retail and we look forward to working with more forward-thinking brands across the region to make retail digitalization a reality for them too,” said Dadi Motiwalla, Managing Director, Nanovo MENA and the Far East.
“The region’s dynamic business environment and ever-evolving consumer behaviors offer us a unique opportunity as more and more companies explore digitalization to keep discerning customers loyal. Accolades like a Gold Stevie go a long way in endorsing what we’ve always known---Nanovo is the ideal partner for retailers looking to adapt and grown without compromising on customer experience and satisfaction,” added Konrad Lucka, Chief Growth Officer, Nanovo.
More than 800 nominations from organizations across the Middle East and North Africa were considered this year. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 executives around the world acting as judges on six juries.
“We are delighted to recognize the achievements of such a diverse group of organizations across the MENA region in the 2023 edition of the Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “We look forward to celebrating Stevie winners during our gala event on 18 March in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The quality of nominations received this year was exceptional. The program has grown every year, showing the vast amount of innovation in the MENA region.”
