Mai Dubai renews sponsorship agreement to Shabab Alahli Club

Dubai, UAE, June 28, 2022: In the presence of HE Khalifa Sulaiman, Member of the Board of Directors of Shabab Alahli Club; HE Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Chairman of Mai Dubai; HE Lieutenant-General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri, Chairman of the Sports Games Sector at Shabab Alahli; HE Hisham Al Qassim Member of the Board of Directors of Shabab Alahli Club; Waleed Ali Bin Salman, Vice Chairman of Mai Dubai; and Alexander van ’t Riet, CEO of Mai Dubai, Shabab Alahli Club and Mai Dubai bottled water company have renewed their strategic partnership agreement. Mai Dubai will continue to be the Official Water Sponsor of Shabab Al Ahli in the next sports season 2022-2023

The signing ceremony was also attended by HE Major General Talal Alshingiti, Vice Chairman of the Sports Games Sector at Shabab Alahli; Majed Sultan, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Sports Games Sector; Abdullatif Alsayegh, Marketing Advisor at Shabab Al Ahli Club; and Dr Khalid Al Zahed, Executive Director of Shabab Al Ahli Club.

Shabab Alahli club considered this agreement with Mai Dubai as a continuation of the strong relationship between the club and one of the leading national companies that contributes to the development of Dubai, adding that the two sides are keen to strengthen this relationship in a way that benefits both parties as well as the public good.

The club commended Mai Dubai for continuing to support the sports sector in the UAE in general and Shabab Alahli Club in particular, pointing out that this cooperation supports the directives of the wise leadership and is in line with the integrated roles of organisations in the UAE to achieve the desired goals.

'In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we work in Mai Dubai, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) wholly-owned subsidiary, according to a methodology that anticipates the future and promotes a strategy of excellence. Through our partnership with Shabab AlAhli Club, Mai Dubai has reiterated its commitment to promoting a robust sporting culture in Dubai, as Mai Dubai has become the leading bottled water brand in the UAE,” said Al Tayer.

“We will continue to cooperate with Shabab AlAhli Club to consolidate its position as one of the pioneering football clubs in the UAE, as well as to promote Mai Dubai’ role as one of the main supporters of fitness and encouraging society members to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle. We take this opportunity as well to wish the team good luck in the upcoming season,” added Al Tayer.
