Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the largest jewellery retailers globally with a strong retail network of over 260 outlets spread across 10 countries, inaugurated 2 new showrooms in India at MG Road, Bengaluru and Solapur, Maharashtra on 7th and 9th January 2022 respectively. The Bengaluru store, which is the largest store of Malabar Gold & Diamonds in Karnataka was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. C N Ashwath Narayan, Minister of Science and Technology, Higher Education & IT, Biotechnology of Karnataka, in the presence of Mr. N A Haris MLA (Shantinagar Constituency), Kerala opposition leader Mr. V D Satheesan MLA, Mr. M P Ahammed (Malabar Group Chairman), Mr. Abdul Salam KP (Vice Chairman - Malabar Group), Mr. Shamlal Ahamed (Managing Director – International Operations, Malabar Gold & Diamonds), Mr. O Asher (Managing Director – India Operations, Malabar Gold & Diamonds)  and other senior management officials. The store in Solapur, Maharashtra was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ms. Shrikanchana Yannam (Mayor of Solapur municipal corporation) in the presence of senior management officials and other dignitaries. 

 

Both these showrooms are part of Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ global expansion plans for 2022 in which it will open 22 new showrooms in India and abroad in January. The Group will invest another USD 107.5 Million for this new phase of expansion this year.
