Hitachi Energy at Adipec, to Showcase Carbon-Neutral Energy Systems
Focus at the exhibition on sustainable solutions to power the energy industry
Dubai – November 14, 2021: Global power and technology leader, today said it will focus on showcasing its range of carbon-neutral energy systems at the upcoming ADIPEC 2021 in Abu Dhabi during November 15-18, 2021.
The company said one of the key products will be its HVDC (high-voltage direct current) systems that is acknowledged as a key enabler for zero carbon energy infrastructure and is highly efficient for transmitting large amounts of electricity over long distances. The system also helps integration of renewables and interconnecting grids, supporting deployment of sustainable transmission solutions.
“Our participation at ADIPEC 2021 will further reinforce our focus on sustainability and outlook of electricity becoming the leading future energy source globally. We believe that in the wake of the climate change and wider awareness on environment, it is imperative that we reflect our commitment through development of energy infrastructure systems that are future-oriented value propositions,” said Dr. Mostafa AlGuezeri, Managing Director of Hitachi Energy for the UAE, Gulf, Near East and Pakistan.
ADIPEC 2021 is hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and is positioned as the world’s most influential show and meeting place for oil and gas and energy professionals to discuss on the evolving energy landscape and look at potential business partnerships.
Apart from the HVDC systems, Hitachi Energy will also be showcasing its digital technology solutions and services at the show focusing on digital transformation as one of the key parameters to catalyze sustainability.
“ADIPEC will provide Hitachi Energy an opportunity to highlight our carbon-neutral solutions, versatility in technology and electricity solutions. With the UAE looking at leading the regional sustainability movement with growth confidence in the post-pandemic times, the expo is an ideal platform for global players like us to reinforce our dedication to environment and community at large,” said Dr. Mostafa, adding that the participation is in line with the company’s Sustainability 2030 strategic plan.
Hitachi Energy’s sustainability strategy follows the UN SDGs and the company’s business targets are linked to social, environmental and economic values, he said.
