Entity passes rigorous audits by the International Organization for Standardization to attain the ISO 22301:2019, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 standards
Sharjah, October 11, 2021: Signaling a major milestone for Sahab Smart Solutions (Sahab), the Sharjah Asset Management Holding (SAMH) affiliate, has been awarded three prestigious certifications by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in recognition of its unwavering commitment to the highest standards of quality.
Servicing both public and private sectors in the UAE through its managed IT solutions and innovative digital strategies, Sahab’s endorsement by the world body mirrors the entity’s goal of providing diverse and innovative projects across various sectors, focusing on providing digital solutions in public services, retail, finance, e-commerce, cybersecurity, cloud computing and more.
Sahab applied for and received certifications in three standards, namely, the ISO 22301:2019, which is the international standard for security and resilience for business continuity management systems; ISO/IEC 27001, which provides standards for information security management systems to keep information assets secure; and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, relating to establishing, implementing and maintaining service management systems (SMS) through continuous planning, design, transition and optimisation of services that meet their required values.
Sahab’s ISO certifications gain significance in the face of the tremendous growth in the managed IT services sector in the UAE as well as the pace of digital transformation across public and private sectors.
With the emergence of new markets and innovations, businesses in this sector are poised for unprecedented growth, increasing the need to optimise quality control, and agility in responding to emerging cyber dangers.
Commenting on Shahab’s success in being awarded these accreditations, Amin Al Zarouni, CEO, Sahab Smart Solutions, said: “ISO’s specifications and protocols to attain their internationally recognised certifications are extremely rigorous. Sahab’s journey to attain these, however, was an organic process as our company is founded upon thorough performance protocols, which are led by the innovation and expertise of our staff who uphold an uncompromising commitment to quality.”
He added: “These certifications are not only a measure of Sahab’s dedication to consistently providing services that meet global standards in the IT services sector, but also an acknowledgment of our enterprise in aiming for continuous improvement across our service offerings.”
