Dubai - March 25,  2021: This Ramadan, Bombay Brasserie, Taj Dubai's award-winning designer Indian kitchen brings together two worlds of distinct flavours and cuisines, combining locally adored classics from both Emirati and Indian delicacies, for an unforgettable Iftar experience to enjoy with family and friends.

Thoughtfully conceptualized by Executive Chef Vikas Milhoutra, the unique Iftar menu pays tribute to the passage of time, drawing inspiration from the deep-rooted cultural exchange between the United Arab Emirates and India. Each dish is crafted with traditional flair and finessed with Bombay Brasserie’s signature contemporary touch, to bring an effortless entwinement of Indo-Emirati flavours.

The Iftar begins with a premium selection of dates brought to the table alongside an option of refreshing beverages to break the fast, including Tamar Al Hind, Qamardheen Ka Panna and Kharkadi. An assortment of indulgent starters swiftly follows with highlights including, Tekat Deyay Emirati, tender chicken kebabs infused with mild Indian spices and cooked in a traditional tandoor and, Emirati specialty lentil soup, Shorbat Adas that draws flavourful inspiration from India’s traditional Mulligatawny.

For mains, guests can indulge in family-style sharing dishes, including Arayees Paratha, a dish that stems inspiration from the Indian favourite, Kheema Paratha, Khudar Mashwi ma Baharat Hind, offering wholesome Emirati house-favourite vegetables tossed in an Indian masala blend and the signature Indian Biryani infused with flavours of the Middle East, Aysh Mohammar Ma Robyan Mashwi, rice cooked with date syrup and Malleh, Emirati dry fish and served with grilled prawns. The Iftar concludes with a choice of desserts, which include Chebab Pe Halwa, dates and fig halwa stuffed saffron pancakes served with khawah and the quintessential Loqaimat, Emirati beignets with date syrup, served with a rich Saffron Honey and Tahina ice cream.

Taj Dubai is also delighted to announce that the Indo-Emirati Iftar menu will be available for delivery across platforms throughout Ramadan. Additionally, an Asian Iftar menu inspired by the flavours of the Far East will also be available for delivery. The Asian menu features classics such as Thai Red Curry, Fish Chili in Basil sauce, Chicken Manchurian and more, served with a choice of fried rice and noodles.  A five-spice flourless Chocolate Cake and Mango & Sago Panna cotta provide a sweet finish to the perfect meal.

Join Taj Dubai for a culinary journey of discovery this Ramadan and uncover rich and aromatic flavours of the UAE and India at Bombay Brasserie or in the comfort of your own home.
