Dubai, 31st of August 2020: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, and patron of Dubai Quality Group (DQG), the Ideas Arabia Subgroup of DQG is announcing the inauguration of the “15th Cycle of Ideas Arabia Annual International  Conference & Competition” and the “9th Cycle of UAE Ideas Conference & Award”. The Annual Ceremony for both conferences will be held virtually for the first time on 29th November 2020.

 

Dubai Quality Group is now accepting submissions from all the entities in the Government and Private Sectors for the 15th Cycle of Ideas Arabia and the 9th Cycle of UAE Ideas Competition. Interested applicants may visit www.dqg.org. The Deadline of Submission for both Competitions will be on the 31st October 2020. 

 

On the other side, the Ideas Arabia and UAE Ideas activities are managed by Mr. Hussain Al Fardan, Subgroup Chair of Ideas Arabia, Dubai Quality Group.

 

The 15th Cycle of Ideas Arabia Annual International Conference & Competition will recognize the most significant ideas implemented by the organizations during the year 2019.           This competition seeks to recognize employees and organizations for their outstanding ideas. Not only does this competition provides an opportunity for participating companies to benchmark against other leading organizations, but it also acts as a motivational tool for employees to perform to their highest potential. 

 

The Competition criteria include Sustainability, Health & Safety, Innovation, Technology, Customer Happiness, Financial, Productivity, Educational, Best Shared Idea, Best Suggestion Program Coordinator and Executive Leadership. The presentation which will be submitted for the competition should include the Challenges, Solution (the Idea), Planning - Executing the Idea, Result (Tangible and Intangible) and Transferability. 

To go global, Ideas Arabia will give the winner of the ‘Idea of the Year’, a unique opportunity to be automatically nominated to compete for the  Global Innovative Idea of the Year award, which will be selected by the jury from all the winning ideas under the Competition criteria.

Further, the 9th Cycle of the UAE Ideas Conference & Award is a competition for the best creative and innovative Emirati ideas implemented in the year 2019, which will be rewarded according to the following categories: Promoting Arabic Language and Usage, National Identity, Empowering Voluntary and Charitable Work Inside and Outside UAE, Promoting Environment Work (eco-friendly application), Empowering National Human Resources, Promoting Business, Inventions and Smart Government. 

 

The Winners of the 15th Cycle of Ideas Arabia and the 9th Cycle of UAE Ideas Competitions will be announced within the Virtual Award Ceremony on 29th November 2020.

In line with this, Dubai Quality Group is now welcoming Volunteer Certified Assessors who have previous Local and International Assessment experience to be part of the Assessment of the 15th Annual International Conference & Competition and the 9th UAE Ideas Conference & Award, in English or Arabic. The applicants should be willing to commit for One (1) month assessment duration starting from 1st November 2020.
