Ajman-UAE: July 02, 2020 – Ajman University (AU), for the 3rd year in a row, has made another one of QS Intelligence Unit’s elite list of rankings.

Every summer, the QS Intelligence Unit launches the “Top 50 Under 50”, which showcases the world’s best universities under 50 years of age.

Once again, Ajman University is on the “Next 100” portion of that list, thereby putting it among the “Top 150 under 50”.

Only 8 universities in the UAE and a total of 17 universities in the Arab World earned a spot on the prestigious list of QS World Rankings “Top 50 Under 50”, published on June 24, 2020.

“I am proud that AU is among the top 150 universities under 50 for the third consecutive year, according to the 2021 QS World Rankings, said Karim Seghir, Ph.D., AU Chancellor. “This is another amazing outcome of the diligent efforts and exemplary dedication of many stakeholders over the past 32 years.”

The complete 2021 list of “150 under 50” is available at topuniversities.com. First published in 2012, QS Rankings of the best universities under 50 allows some of the world’s top young universities to shine. Since 2015, it has tripled its range to include the Next 100 Under 50.

Ajman University has stolen the show in several of the most recent QS Rankings reports.
On June 10, 2020, Ajman University was ranked among the Top 750 worldwide by QS World University Rankings 2021 while the cities of Dubai/Sharjah/Ajman were ranked 60th among the world’s best destinations for university students – the highest ranked location in the Arab world.

Ajman University is also ranked by QS as having the world's 3rd most international faculty and 5th most international students. AU earned “FIVE QS Stars” for Social Responsibility, Inclusiveness, and Facilities, and “FOUR QS Stars” for both Teaching and Internationalization.

While Ajman University is globally accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), all its academic programs are accredited by the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation. A growing number of AU programs are accredited by renowned international agencies as ABET, ACPE, UIA-UNESCO, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, and ACCA.
