A new local eatery, Desi Junction has opened its doors in Dubai’s desi restaurant capital, Al Karama.

The new eatery menu is inspired from various regions of India - showcasing each region’s unique ingredients, spices and flavours with a little twist. Desi Junction is Indian to the core, the epitome of the India of today and tomorrow, and the perfect place to rediscover India through an explosion of flavours.

From the tempting whiffs of Pav Bhaji to street vendors selling lip-smacking Chowpatty Tawa delicacies, the new restaurant Desi Junction is bringing all good food memories from all over India to Dubai - all under one roof.

This new eatery is the brainchild of renowned Chef Aatir Dhadalla – who believes that when it comes to food, no gimmicks are required – flavours, aromas and spices will win the hearts of the diners. Chef Aatir has worked with many well-known names of the F&B industry like Sanjeev Kapoor, Santiago Gurrero, Russell Ford.

Desi Junction is a place where nostalgia is served on a platter, entertained by the culture and charm of the most iconic cooking techniques, inspired by the greatest cities in India.

The menu consists of traditional Tawa delicacies like Tawa Chicken Boti Takatak, Cotton Butter Bun with Mutton, Keema & Cheese, an array of mouth-watering chaat like Pindi Chole Samosa Chaat, Ragda Pattice, Dahi Bhalla, traditional curries like Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Chicken Haleem, Biryanis and much more. Chef Aatir has skilfully crafted a culinary experience that engages all the senses. Inspired by the unique concept of deep history of Indian cooking, the menu showcases authentic Indian culinary dishes that are presented in a traditional approach. Along with food, the beverage list is crafted to tie into the underlying flavours and aromas of India, like the Sweet Lassi, Jal Zeera, and Lemon Soda.

The concept is based on an alluring combination of affordability and taste. The dishes of the menu are dedicated to food carts, where in you can stop by for a quick bite or sit, relax and enjoy these traditional street delicacies.

So, join us in this unique culinary journey!
