Dubai, United Arab Emirates -  September 18, 2019:   River Island’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection embodies all things glam to ease the transition into cooler weather with a sparkly flourish. Statement separates take the River Island girl from day to night in a mix of 70’s and 80’s inspired pieces. Power shoulders are back with diamanté details, leather trims and dazzling denim, worn underneath faux fur, checks and oversized puffers for a glitzy take on outerwear.

APRÈS SKI on a slope or in the city, skiing has never looked better. Scuba fabric cigarette pants are an alpine special along with RI monogram knits, faux fur trim puffers and luxe loungewear that add a touch of cosy winter chic. Diamanté, dogtooth prints, and dashes of pillar box red add the details which bring this otherwise monochrome palette to action.

Want to be SUPER FLY? The 70’s, inspires this tonal trend. Sandy shades across PU snake and croc prints, paired with deep chocolate and rich cream turtle-necks elevating the trend to new heights. Leather trims, buckle-neck fastenings and gold zips add fabulous finishing touches.

Embellished knits, oversized outerwear and slouchy pants form the basis of COSY BOY. This collection refreshes knitwear offering a light cream and off-white palette contrasts with charcoal grey pullovers. Add into the mix faux fur, denim and cord and you’ll wish it was Winter already.

80’S POWER AND DISCO are back with checked co-ords, head-to-toe and classic red tartan, making that sweetheart neckline pop. Want to be OTT at the Disco? Opt for glitzy balloon sleeve blazers, embellished collars on crisp white shirts and hot pink velvet ruffles, a look that’s guaranteed to get noticed on the dancefloor!

River Island’s wild side this season comes with a western twist. Fringed trim’s, embellished bustiers and PU blazers are show stopping pieces making up BLACK DIAMOND. With subtle references to the 80’s, this trend will shimmer from day-to-night whether you opt for a power denim look or cocktail dress. In contrast, WHITE NIGHTS is an evening tux package enhanced with sequins, metallics and sparkle on a monochrome base. Contrast the night away in luxurious separates that have that something extra from fringing, to diamanté details and powerhouse silhouettes.
