Abu Dhabi, UEA - 19 May 2019:  Aldar Properties’ Yas Mall, The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi (The Mall at WTCAD) and both Al Jimi Mall and Remal Mall in Al Ain, have joined forces to offer visitors a special experience this Holy Month of Ramadan, with a variety of cultural, religious and shopping activities to be enjoyed by all members of the community. The malls aim to bring everyone together to enjoy the spiritual month with beautiful seasonal decoration and a family-friendly atmosphere.

With intent to offer unique and memorable shopping and leisure experiences, Yas Mall, The Mall at WTCAD and Al Jimi Mall, have partnered with The Islamic Museum to host pop-up exhibitions.

The three malls will display over 100 priceless inspiring collections of Islamic artefacts including a special oil painting of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Nahyan; the chair on which Sheikh Zayed used to sit; the first photo of the union with the leaders of the UAE; rare historical newspapers clippings; Quran copies that date back thousands of years; and more. With free entry, these exhibitions help keep cultural heritage alive, by providing an opportunity for visitors to witness the domains of heritage, archaeological and art collectibles.

Additionally, throughout the month, visitors of Yas Mall, The Mall at WTCAD, and Remal Mall can enjoy a variety of special shopping promotions through the famous Spend & Win campaign, which will run from May 6 to June 4.

The malls will each be rewarding one lucky shopper every week with AED 10,000 grocery shopping spree. To enter the draw, shoppers should spend AED 200 at any of the malls’ outlets. Visitors could double their chance to win the prize by spending at any of Yas Mall or The Mall at WTCAD’s F&B outlets and savour a delicious array of cuisines allowing families and friends to spend quality time together this Ramadan.

Further spreading the spirit of the Holy Month, which calls for giving, acceptance, and tolerance, an incredible exhibition of 12 handmade artistic carpets by Fatima bint Mohamed bin Zayed Initiative (FBMI), will be displayed in Yas Mall with a theme based on the year of tolerance. This initiative offers a unique and creative approach to empower Afghani women in the handmade carpet industry.
