Dubai, UAE, October 20, 2018:   Abu Dhabi Racing’s Junior Rally Driver Mohamed Al Mutawaa Al Shehhi, finished on the Podium at the 6th Round of the French Peugeot Sport 208 Rallye Cup in Cardabelles, France.

The Young Emirati racer has competed in multiple International Championships over the past 10 years, from karting, single seaters, touring cars, GT cars and has now been working to conquer the rallying world. Amongst his many achievements, Mohamed has won the Middle East Rally Championship for juniors and competed in the Junior World Rally Championship and was recently in the top 5 in Rallye Mont Blanc last month.

Commenting on his achievement, Al Mutawaa said “I am really happy to finish on the podium at Rally Cardabelles! My Co-Driver Aaron and I have been working very hard from the start of the season, when he joined me to get to where we are today! We managed to get the rhythm in place and synchronize with each other quickly. God bless we have reached a level with our driving notes that I don’t have to think twice when he reads them out during the race.”

Al Mutawaa added “I have come a long way with the support of Sh. Khalid Bin Faisal Al Qassimi who saw potential in me. I can’t thank him enough for believing in me, and I dedicate this podium to him and Abu Dhabi racing as they have supported me throughout the past 5 years. I would also like to thank PH-Sport for setting up my car throughout the season and making sure that I am ready for the stages we face, and not to forget our sponsors, my co-driver and my parents that have been there for me throughout my journey. I am so glad to raise the UAE flag in the Year of Sh. Zayed and proud to be one of the sons of Sh. Zayed that raise the flag in this international event”

Mohamed Al Mutawaa is looking forward to his next race and won’t settle for just a podium finish but will be looking at the top step to achieve a win. Every race he is gaining experience, and this contributes to his journey to achieve the gold, and he is very positive about the upcoming race in one months’ time.
