Dubai, UAE, October 02, 2018:   German conglomerate Siemens and Scientechnic, the flagship company of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG), celebrated 45 years of exclusive partnership in Dubai and the Northern Emirates at a gala event held at the Armani Ballroom on September 26. The gathering included ESAG shareholders, key team members along with a number of customers and clients, all of whom have played a pivotal role in their joint history.

Over four decades ago, H.E Easa Saleh Al Gurg, KCVO, CBE signed an exclusive agreement with Siemens AG to distribute power engineering products and services to a growing city. In a short period, this relationship grew to include the entire range of Siemens’ electrical industry portfolio of products. Today, teams from Siemens and Scientechnic work together towards shaping the future of engineering by providing innovative and sustainable solutions to several infrastructure developments and projects.

'Team work and innovation have been the hallmarks of our success with Siemens. Our partnership has been built on a strong foundation of mutual trust, respect, and appreciation. We have evolved together, and this has enabled us to proudly contribute towards the growth and development of our nation. We look forward to growing our partnership for many more decades to come.” said Scientechnic CEO, Easa F. Al Gurg.

From building technology services, power generation and energy management solutions to mobility, automation and drive technologies; Scientechnic and Siemens combine their regional knowledge and engineering excellence to meet the needs of clients within a constantly expanding economy. Collectively they have worked on several key projects such as the Jebel Ali G Power and Desalination Plant that supplies power and potable water, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Atlantis Hotel and Aquaventure Water Park.

Dietmar Siersdorfer, CEO of Siemens in the Middle East, said: “Over the last four decades, we have been part of the United Arab Emirates’ incredible growth story.

In Dubai and the Northern Emirates, this wouldn’t have been possible without the extensive support of our local partner Scientechnic. Our long-term collaboration has resulted in many successes, bringing value to business and society. I look forward to continuing and building on this strong partnership long into the future”.
